It has been two years since the devastating earthquake hit Tohoku area in Japan. Today is the day for all of us to once again think and remind ourselves about what happened two years ago, and what we can make happen from now on to forward reconstruction and revival of the local communities in the affected area.
Even after two years, we still could see the increase in the number of people who ‘Like’-ed the messages on our Facebook page, which encouraged us and many others who had been suffering from emotional and stressful pain brought by the earthquake. Therefore, we would like to express our greatest appreciation for those who posted and viewed messages on our ‘World’s 1000 Messages to Japan’ page as well as ‘Japan’s 1000 Messages to the World’ page.
This really shows us all that there are still a great deal of people who draw attention to the situation after the incident. We hope that our message project will keep helping and supporting such people to exchange and convey their feelings beyond the border. Below are the links to the two pages introduced above so please keep posting your messages if you ever want to share your thoughts, gratitude, and encouragement with other people.

Lastly, we strongly believe that it is very important to never forget about the tragedy and think hard about what we can do individually even from outside of the affected area. Also, trying to gain information about the current situation in Tohoku and spread the word about it could be a great step forward to the recovery of the local communities there. We will keep our spirits high and try our best to improve the situation towards the bright future.
Thank you very much.
